No one ever plans to have a trauma related event, but the fact is that trauma is the leading cause of death in people ages one to 44. Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas provides comprehensive trauma services at our Level 1 trauma center and directly receives trauma patients, as well as patients transferred from other Baylor Health Care System hospitals and health care facilities throughout the region.
Baylor Dallas is one of only 17 Level 1 Trauma Centers in the State of Texas.
